Other Events

Advanced Digital Information Corporation (NASDAQ: ADIC) announced that it will file on or about July 14, 2006, a definitive proxy statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to notify holders of record of ADIC common stock at the close of business on July 13, 2006 that a special meeting of shareholders will be held to approve the proposed merger of ADIC with Quantum Corporation announced on May 2, 2006. The target date and time of the meeting is currently August 16, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. The meeting will be held at the corporate offices of ADIC in Redmond, Washington.

On June 13, 2006, Quantum filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) a Registration Statement on Form S-4 containing a preliminary Proxy Statement/Prospectus regarding the proposed transaction between Quantum and ADIC. This material is not a substitute for the final Proxy Statement/Prospectus regarding the proposed transaction. Investors and shareholders are urged to carefully read the preliminary Proxy Statement/Prospectus and the final Proxy Statement/Prospectus when available because they contain and will contain important information about Quantum, ADIC, the transaction and related matters. The final Proxy Statement/Prospectus will be mailed to shareholders of ADIC.
