On November 5, 2009, The DIRECTV Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release, which contained information regarding the third quarter 2009 consolidated results of the Company. The press release did not include certain financial statements, related notes and certain other financial information that will be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission as part of the Company’s Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q. A copy of the press release relating to such announcement, dated November 5, 2009, is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
