Item 8.01. Other Events.

On February 25, 2026, IPG Photonics Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the Local Division of the Unified Patent Court ("UPC") located in Mannheim, Germany issued a decision in one of the two previously disclosed patent infringement cases brought by affiliates of Trumpf SE & Co. KG against IPG Laser GmbH & Co. KG, a German subsidiary of the Company. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
