Accounting Changes	Note 3 — Accounting Changes Accounting Standards Not Yet Adopted Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses. In November 2024, the FASB issued ASU 2024-03, “Disaggregation of Income Statement Expenses (Subtopic 220-40)” which requires enhanced disclosure of income statement expense categories to improve transparency and provide financial statement users with more detailed information about the nature, amount and timing of expenses impacting financial performance. This new guidance is effective for the Company for annual periods beginning October 1, 2027 (Fiscal 2028) and interim periods beginning October 1, 2028 (Fiscal 2029). Early adoption is permitted. The amendments in this ASU may be adopted using the prospective or retrospective methods. The Company is in the process of assessing the impact on its financial statements and determining the transition method and the period in which the new guidance will be adopted. Segment Reporting. In November 2023, the FASB issued ASU 2023-07, “Improvements to Reportable Segment Disclosures (Topic 280)” which requires enhanced disclosure of (1) significant segment expenses that are regularly provided to the CODM and included within each reported measure of segment profit or loss, (2) the amount and description of the composition of other segment items which reconcile to segment profit or loss, and (3) the title and position of the entity’s CODM and an explanation of how the CODM uses the reported measure(s) of segment profit or loss in assessing segment performance and allocating resources. The amendments also expand the interim segment disclosure requirements. This new guidance is effective for the Company for annual periods beginning October 1, 2024 (Fiscal 2025) and interim periods beginning October 1, 2025 (Fiscal 2026). Early adoption is permitted. The amendments in this ASU apply retrospectively to all prior periods presented in the financial statements. The Company will adopt the new guidance effective for the year ending September 30, 2025 and provide the additional disclosures, if any, as required by the new guidance. Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures. In December 2023, the FASB issued ASU 2023-09, “Improvements to Income Tax Disclosures (Topic 740)” which requires entities to disclose, among other items, disaggregated information about a reporting entity’s effective tax rate reconciliation and income taxes paid. This new guidance is effective for the Company for annual periods beginning October 1, 2025 (Fiscal 2026). Early adoption is permitted. The amendments in this ASU may be adopted using the prospective or retrospective methods. The Company is in the process of assessing the impact on its financial statements and determining the transition method and the period in which the new guidance will be adopted.
