On October 26, 2023, Western Asset Mortgage Capital Corporation, a Delaware corporation (“WMC”), issued a press release announcing that its board of directors has declared an interim fourth quarter dividend of $0.14 on WMC’s common stock, par value $0.01 per share, in connection with the previously announced proposed acquisition of WMC by AG Mortgage Investment Trust, Inc., a Maryland corporation (“MITT”).

A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
