Scheme of Arrangement Effective

The Board of ebookers is pleased to announce that the Scheme to implement the recommended acquisition for cash by Cendant UK Acquisition Corporation of ebookers announced on 2 December 2004 has now become effective, and that ebookers is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cendant Corporation.

Listing and dealings in ebookers Shares on the London Stock Exchange have now been suspended, the ebookers ADSs will be delisted from NASDAQ with effect from open of business (New York time) today and the register in respect of ebookers ADSs will be closed as soon as practicable thereafter.

Dinesh Dhamija, founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ebookers said:
