Item 8.01 Other Events

On September 5, 2024, BAIYU Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) received from the Securities and Exchange Commission (the “SEC”) an order suspending trading in the Company’s securities, available at https://www.sec.gov/enforcement-litigation/trading-suspensions. On September 6, 2024, the Company received an information request from the Nasdaq for certain information and documents. The Company has not participated in any price manipulation activity and will fully cooperate with both the SEC and Nasdaq.
