Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 18, 2022, FinTech Acquisition Corp. V (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it will redeem all of its outstanding shares of Class A common stock that were included in the units issued in its initial public offering, effective as of the close of business on December 9, 2022, as the Company will not consummate an initial business combination on or prior to December 8, 2022. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
