Item 8.01. Other Events.

On November 19, 2021, Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its Board of Directors declared a dividend of $0.22 per share of common stock. The dividend will be payable on December 9, 2021 to shareholders of record as of November 29, 2021.
