Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On ~~January~~June 212, 2005, Salomon Brothers Emerging Markets Floating Rate Fund Inc. (the “Fund”) issued a press release inreporting ~~connection~~that ~~with~~on aMay 31, 2005, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ~~investigation~~issued ~~first~~an ~~disclosed~~order in ~~December~~connection ~~2003~~with ~~involving~~the ~~Citigroup~~settlement ~~Asset~~of an administrative proceeding against Smith Barney Fund Management, ~~the~~LLC and Citigroup ~~business~~Global ~~unit~~Markets ~~which~~Inc., ~~includes~~each an affiliate of the Fund’s Investment Manager, ~~and~~relating ~~other~~to ~~investment~~the ~~advisory~~appointment ~~companies,~~of ~~and~~ an ~~employee~~ affiliated transfer agent for the Smith Barney family of mutual funds. The Securities and ~~former~~Exchange ~~employees~~Commission’s investigation into this matter was first disclosed in December 2003.
