Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

American Crystal Sugar Company (Company) announced to its shareholders in a letter dated January 25, 2013, that the Company’s Board of Directors has set the planting tolerance for the 2013 crop year at .82 to .87 acres per Preferred Share. The Board of Directors retains the authority to adjust planting levels up or down depending on circumstances that develop throughout the year.
