Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure

On August 5, 2005 Haggar Corp. announced that the Haggar Board of Directors declared a $0.05 per share dividend. The dividend was approved at the quarterly Board of Directors meeting on August 2, 2005 and will be payable on August 29, 2005 to shareholders of record as of August 15, 2005. The announcement is set forth in the press release attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
