On May 1, 2025, Mercer International Inc. (the “Company”) announced by press release the Company’s results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2025. A copy of such press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report.

On May 1, 2025, the Company announced by press release that its board of directors had authorized a quarterly cash dividend of $0.075 per share to be paid on July 3, 2025 to all shareholders of record on June 26, 2025.
