On June 25, 2007, Orwin L. Carter, Ph.D., a director on the Board of Directors of Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. (the “Company”), informed the Company that he did not intend to stand for re-election at the Company’s 2007 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
