On October 27^th, 2008, Mr. Paul Eagland was appointed as President and Mr. Ray Welt and Mr. Alan Wright were appointed as members of the Board of Directors of Chief Consolidated Mining Company (the “Company”). In addition to these appointments the Company’s Board of Directors constituted Board of Directors subcommittees as follows:

	1.		Audit Committee to consist of Mr. Ray Welt, Dr. Tom Sawyer and Mr. Alan Wright.

	2.		Corporate Governance Committee to consist of Mr. Ray Welt, Dr. Tom Sawyer and Mr. Alan Wright.
