Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 8, 2015, Bio-Reference Laboratories, Inc. (the “Company”) and OPKO Health, Inc. issued a joint news release. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1. The Company will hold a joint conference call with OPKO Health, Inc. at 8:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, June 11, 2015, to discuss the previously announced entry into a merger agreement for OPKO to acquire the Company and to discuss the Company’s second quarter financial results.
