Item 8.01 Other Events

On June 14, 2012, the Board of Directors of First Sentry Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) announced the approval of a cash dividend on the Company’s outstanding common stock of $0.20 per share. The dividend will be payable to stockholders of record as of June 24, 2012 and is expected to be paid on June 29, 2012.
