~~Section~~ On February 7, 2014 The Bank of New York Mellon, as Trustee for the PreferredPLUS Trust Series QWS-2 Trust (the “Trust”), issued a press release regarding the receipt of a notice from the Depositor that the Depositor recently determined that the guarantor of the Underlying Securities, Qwest Communications International Inc. , ~~Financial~~is ~~Information~~no longer a reporting company under the Exchange Act. A Form 15 “Certification and Notice of Termination of Registration under Section 12(g) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 or Suspension of Duty to File Reports Under Section 13 and 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934” was filed for Qwest Communications International Inc., the underlying securities guarantor, on January 21, 2014. This requires termination of the trust. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
