Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 14, 2004, pursuant to a registration statement (No. 333-113492) Perpetual Trustees Australia Limited, in its capacity as issuer trustee (the "Issuer Trustee") of the SMHL Global Fund No. 6 (the "Trust"), publicly issued U.S.$1,000,000,000 of Class A Mortgage Backed Floating Rate Notes (the "Notes"). The Issuer Trustee made a regular quarterly distribution of principal and interest to the holders of the Notes on the quarterly payment date falling on February 9, 2005. Capitalized terms used in this Form 8-K have the same meanings given to them in the prospectus related to the Notes.
