On June 14, 2007, Yardville National Bancorp issued a press release announcing the postponement of its annual meeting of shareholders, the execution of a settlement agreement with Lawrence B. Seidman and related parties, and the execution of an Agreement and Plan of Merger with The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
