Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On January 26, 2021, Varian Medical Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its preliminary results of operations for the three months ended January 1, 2021. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1. A slide presentation, which includes supplemental information relating to the Company, is attached as Exhibit 99.2. The exhibits will be posted on the Company's website at www.varian.com under the "Investors" section.
