Item 8.01 Other Events.

On June 24, 2014, Entergy Gulf States Louisiana, L.L.C. (the “Company”) entered into an Underwriting Agreement for the sale of $110,000,000 aggregate principal amount of its First Mortgage Bonds, 3.78% Series due April 1, 2025 (the “Bonds”). The sale of the Bonds closed on July 1, 2014. The Bonds were registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, by means of the Company’s automatic shelf Registration Statement on Form S-3, as amended (No. 333-190911-01).
